Angela Hwang is a skilled attorney with over 10 years of extensive litigation experience, which enables her to assist clients through some of the most challenging and important issues in their lives. Born and raised in Chicago, Janet received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Concordia University Chicago. She then attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate in 2021. During law school, she was an active member of the Hispanic Latinx Law Student Association and the Chicago-Kent Student Humanitarian Network. She also volunteered with several organizations who provide legal services to low-income minorities in the areas of eviction, divorce, and immigration law. In her final year of law school, she completed a summer judicial clerkship with the Domestic Relations Division of Cook County.

Upon graduating, Janet successfully passed the Illinois bar exam and was sworn into the Illinois bar. Janet is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.

Morgan received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Hannibal LaGrange University. Morgan then attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she worked at the school’s Family Law Clinic, Ascend Justice Domestic Violence Clinic, and as a judicial clerk in Child Protection Court. During her time at Chicago-Kent, Morgan was also an active member of several student organizations including Women in Law, First Generation Student Association, and the Chicago-Kent Student Humanitarian Network and received special recognition awards for her volunteer work for several different organizations outside of law school.

Upon graduating from law school Morgan successfully passed the bar exam and was sworn into the Illinois bar. Morgan is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.

Khyra N. Kolidakis is a dedicated attorney with a strong background in litigation and family law, allowing her to guide clients through complex and deeply personal legal matters. She represents clients in a wide range of domestic relations matters, including marital dissolution, allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, property division, and post-decree disputes.

Khyra has experience handling contested family law matters involving complex financial issues, dissipation claims, discovery disputes, high-conflict parenting matters, and requests for modification and enforcement of existing court orders. She works closely with clients throughout the litigation process, from developing case strategy and conducting discovery to drafting pleadings and motions, preparing matters for hearing, and advocating for clients in court.

In addition to her family law practice, Khyra has experience in civil litigation, probate and chancery matters, and other contested proceedings.

Khyra earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from Spelman College. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and is a member of the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago, the Cook County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association Chorus. Her legal scholarship has also been published by the Illinois State Bar Association, with an article appearing in the ISBA law journal in August 2025.

Peter L. Berk joined the Bar of the State of Illinois and the United States District Court in 2001, and immediately began serving the needs of financially distressed businesses and consumers in the Chicagoland area.

The foundation for Mr. Berk’s practice was formed at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. As staff editor of the Loyola Consumer Law Journal, Mr. Berk demonstrated a strong interest in consumer rights and affairs. Also at Loyola, Mr. Berk was recognized for excellence in legal writing.

In 2001, Mr. Berk began his legal career as an associate with the Chicago law firm of Morgan & Bley, Ltd, where he practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, civil rights, and complex litigation. At Morgan & Bley, Mr. Berk worked to reorganize small businesses in Chapter 11, obtained bankruptcy relief for many consumers, represented individual police officers in a well-publicized lawsuit against a municipality in the Chicagoland area, prosecuted and defended defamation actions, and engaged in other general litigation matters.

In 2003, Mr. Berk transitioned to the law firm of Evans, Loewenstein, Shimanovksy & Moscardini, Ltd as an associate attorney. At Evans, Mr. Berk continued his representation of consumers and businesses in bankruptcy proceedings. In addition, he served as a staff attorney with Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc., now known as Legalshield, Inc. ELSM is the provider firm for all of the 50,000+ Legalshield members located in the State of Illinois. Mr. Berk has been recognized by Legalshield for providing outstanding service to its members. At ELSM, Mr. Berk expanded his practice to include real estate. Today, Mr. Berk continues his relationship with ELSM as Of Counsel.

Mr. Berk opened the Law Office of Peter L. Berk in August of 2006. On June 1, 2015, Mr. Berk merged his practice with Douglas Rivera and Kathleen O’Keefe-Rivera to form O’Keefe, Rivera & Berk, LLC. With O’Keefe, Rivera & Berk, LLC, Mr. Berk has continued his philosophy of providing nothing but the best possible client service.

Mr. Berk’s current practice focuses on bankruptcy, real estate, and civil litigation. With respect to bankruptcy law, Mr. Berk has a wealth of experience. He has successfully obtained discharge of millions of dollars of consumer and business debt for his clients. Born and raised in the city of Chicago, Stephen Ibarra graduated from Elmhurst University with a bachelor degree in Business Administration and Political Science. After graduating Stephen worked at MLG as a legal assistant before attending Southern Illinois School of Law. While in law school Stephen was on the Moot Court board, president of the Hispanic Latino Law Student Association, and a Taylor Mattis Fellowship leader. During his 2L summer Stephen was a judicial extern at the Daley Center in the Domestic Relations Division.

Stephen graduated from law school in May, sat for the Bar in July and is now awaiting the results.

As the billing assistant, she processes and distributes bills and speaks with the clientele regarding any billing concerns. Diana also schedules consultations for prospective clients and assists the office with other day-to-day operations.
